Trauma Research Repository
The National Trauma Research Repository Committee
This is a multi-disciplinary national Steering Committee that will guide the planning, development and implementation of the NTRR. The Steering Committee will include but not be limited to representatives of federal government agencies, leaders of the national trauma research and surgery communities, and technical advisors regarding research repository development. The NTRR Committee will develop communication tools to describe plans and ideas to all stakeholders, evaluate existing repository models, and engage in discussions on server and database hosting and maintenance. The Steering Committee has oversight over most aspects of creating the physical repository, including functional requirements, the definition of data elements, approval of the resulting data dictionary, software design, user training and certification, policies, and beta testing. National Trauma Institute staff will manage the project, support the NTRR Committee, and be responsible for keeping all aspects of the project on-schedule and for meeting project milestones.
